Shark Tale October 23, 2004

I just watched Shark Tale (it does not deserve the horrible reviews it’s received–it’s more like Antz than Finding Nemo, which isn’t what people expected) and it seems to me that the moral the producers were trying to instill is, well, a little fishy.
Let’s see here, Lenny’s (the main shark in the movie) father won’t accept him so he runs away to the big city. There he comes out of the closet by announcing his uniqueness to a rainbow colored fish (the first person he’s told), cross-dresses by painting himself to look like a dolphin, and takes joy in dressing up as a construction worker. Then at a tearful reunion at a car wash, his father learns to accept him for who he is.
Is Lenny gay? Nope, it’s even worse. He’s vegetarian!

Yay for vegetarians!
Hi everyone! i am a great fan of Shark Tale! i know it’s been a while since Shark Tale has been out. but i think that other people who like Shark Tale, should still write comments here, because it’s still a great movie! i would have to say that i am a bigger fan for Ice Age, but Shark Tale is on my list.
i’m also hearing rumors about a Shark Tale 2. i’m not so sure if there will be one, but i’m hoping for one. sounds very exciting. so people come here and write, and share your ideas and comments about it. and talk about how you feel about Shark Tale. because i love to talk about it.
a lot of people have complained about Lenny being gay, which i really hated. But no, he’s not gay. he’s an innocent, sweet, caring shark who happends to not eat fish! i find that very pleasing! “i think all sharks should be like you”. Lenny is one of my favorite characters in the movie, because he’s so funny and so nice and sweet. so he’s not gay! he didn’t do anything wrong.
just to say, SweetPossum is Keri. so if you see SweetPossum, that was Keri.
