Posted by Owen in : Life , trackbackDish Network has a election day “interactive” feature where you can watch 6 different channels of election day coverage simultaneously… they show 4 of the usual suspects (CNN, Fox News, C-SPAN, MSNBC) and MTV and Comedy Central. It’s strange that out of 200+ channels, some of the best coverage is from entertainment stations. I know the daily show is popular, but man!
Also in the interactive application, Dish Network had a “Dish Poll” that shows that Dish Network customers give Kerry 50% of the vote, Bush 48%, and Nader 2%. I too can vote in this poll, if I’m willing to pay $.50. Who on earth would pay 50 cents to vote on a TV poll buried deep in an obscure menu? Talk about milking their customers!
